Okay…after reading and reading and reading….Antiseptics aid in ridding nail fungus.Generally, home remedies consist of vinegar, vapor rub, peroxide, etc. etc. blah blah blah then you put a bandaid on it to either cover it up, or keep the "treatment" on the nail longer. With that said, there is that little product called linquid band aid or "new skin". It is an antiseptic. If the home remedies such as listerine and tea tree oil (antiseptics) are so good, why can’t you use liquid band aid (antiseptic) once daily to treat and STAY on the nail?? Your thoughts?

Because it would also "seal in" the fungus and allow it to grow deeper into the nail bed and take longer to heal.

Vicks Vapor Rub, though I’ve heard it can take a while to work.

you definitely need to get rid of fungus!

for me worked very well ZetaClear! I think it is the fastest way to get rid of fungus! Nail fungus is tough to treat. The extracts in Zetaclear provide the most powerful therapeutic effect for healthy looking nails.

Obviously, you can’t spray herbicide on your feet or hands! The next best thing is Zetaclear. It’s made from all-natural homeopathic ingredients. This product works time after time and results are guaranteed. This extra strength solution is designed to be as aggressive and strong as possible, without causing irritation.

It worked fast and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry zetaclear but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.zetaclear.com/?aid=749165

Tea tree oil is supposed to be good. I’ve got a fungus on my big toenail but I’m not good at applying the medication. My toenail looks terrible. My doc says this is extremely hard to cure and very few people actually get rid of it. Good luck. Let me know.

home remdies only… no "well go to a doctor"… THX!!

A low cost vinegar nail fungus home remedy has worked for many people people, you can try this:

Simply place 2 drops of distilled white vinegar (available at any grocery store) at the growing base of the effected nail twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. The vinegar can be applied with a dropper bottle or if you prefer, you can soak a cotton Q-tip and apply the vinegar that way.

Next, this procedure will have to be continued untill the infected nail is grown right off the body. That could take 6 months or longer for an infected toenail.
It is important that not a single application is missed because if you do, any new nail that is grown that day will be susceptible to fungal reinfection.

After following this vinegar nail fungus treatement for about two months you should see normal nail growing at the base of the nail. But remember you must continue the treatment until the infected nail grows right off he body.
