it seems like i saw a story on tv but, i could not find it . pouring some thing on the nails ………either store bought or is it homemade ????????
i was told months ago by the podiatrist that the prescription stuff would soon be over the counter ……………still waiting

There are several treatments that can work on fungus in nails, but most require a prescription from a doctor. You can ask a pharmacist for advice and they should be able to help the best since they know the most about all the medications and how effective they are. It is very difficult to get rid of fungus under nails, and if it is really bad, sometimes the nail is removed. There are pills that work the best and have to be taken either continuously for 4-6weeks or others that are taken for one week each month for 3-6months, depending on how bad a case one has.

They have over-the-counter stuff you can buy, but if it’s really bad you might have to see a foot doctor and have them prescribe something for you. It’s a liquid that you put on your nails.

For nail fungus…tea tree oil and oil of oregano are good choices…..you can mix a few drops of tea tree oil with Vicks vapor rub also and apply 2-3 times daily….to see results you will have to be presistant….results will be visible as the old nail grows out and the new nail grows in fungus free
