My Mom has really bad (toe) nail fungus and takes a lot of pills already. Does anyone know of a topical (cream or ?) that will cure or help this? Tea tree oil and lamasil creme and topol(?) didn’t work.
where did you get the Dactarin liquid ?

She will more than likely have to recieve the oral version of Lamasil. It is realy expensive, as you also have to take it for quite some time. We are talking almost a thousand dollars. Topicals have a very low rate of success simply because they can not get through the nail itself, to the fungal problem.

If fungus is in nails, usually a general treatment is unavoidable, a local treatment alone will not help. If only in skin, medication you mentioned may help. But the disease may appear newly after repeated contamination.

There is a product here called Tincure. It is in a small bottle, and the liquid is brushed on the nail. It has improved my friend’s toe nails. She was able to buy it in a pharmacy. I’m in Australia, I will buy some if you can’t find any where you are, and I will kindly mail it to you if you’d like.

id go at it with the lamisil for atleast 2-3 weeks if you havent already, toe nail fungus tends to be stubborn. if you dont see improvement, go to a doctor and get a prescription
