Onychomycosis is fungal infection of the nail plate, nail bed, or both.

I went to my doctor about a toe nail problem. He told me those medicines have bad side effects. He told me that some of his patients told him that using vick vapor rub is suppose to help eliminate the fungus. So i tried it and so far I actually see a change my Doc said it might take a couple of months but so far I do actually see the nails looking better.

Its inexpensive and easy to do. Just put it on your nails at night and put on a sock and let it work. Most of all it won’t mess up your liver and it doesn’t burn.

Before you try any of the antifungal solutions, you may want to try tea tree oil. Most types of fungus don’t like it, and it does get rid of it. Good luck

I was told by my doctor the topical treatments do not work well, and I tried several that did nothing! The pills are a pain, because you take them for I think 3 monthes, but they worked well for me. I think as long as your liver function is ok normally that is the big side effect.

white iodine works well. toe fungus runs in my family and that clears it up. you can get it at like cvs or any pharmacy i think.

try taking some tablets or some antibiotics and paint your nails so u cant see the fungus.

I have heard plain vicks vaporub will do the trick to eliminate it. Try it. good luck.

Someone told me, and it sounds SO nasty…BUT…

Yogurt.

Put yogurt on the affected nails, and the cultures will eat the fungus.

If you do this over the course of a few months, once a day, it goes away.

Use Listerine.
Put listerine on cotton ball and swab toes with the listerine.
Do this until fungus goes away.
